Samhain was the time of year when the veils between this world and the Otherworld were believed to be at their thinnest. During the celebration, the Celts wore costumes - usually animal heads and skins. The modern day equivalent is Hallowe’en. This design represents the different planes between the spiritual and material world.
it's 47mm high and 9mm wide...it's all made of sterling silver. The back I have impressed with linen and the front "dimension" has been hammered. The back piece "linen" is oxidised to distinguish it from the front which has been brought back to silver It is made with sterling silver.
