Banshee In The Wind
The Banshee is a ghostly figure in ancient Irish mythology. The Gaeilge, Bean Sídhe, means woman of the fairy mound. She was often represented as a dishevelled wailing women with her hair blowing in the wind. This design came from a commission piece. I was asked to capture the wind... and what better model to use than the Banshee
