I wanted to revisit the Irish Easter Lily basing it on the Water Lily native to Ireland. Its botanical name “Nympha Alba” meaning white Nymph, draws on female peaceful energy. The design incorporates three pieces, in keeping with the common rhythm in Irish mythology; triple female deities, the triskele, the trinity knot and the tricolour which was to represent the two main cultural traditions in Ireland with white representing peace.
